Monthly Fav: "TROS (The Return of Superman)"
Recently, i really like
watching The Return of Superman, a reality-variety show from South Korea that
shows us a daily life of children with their father. So, that’s how the show is
called like that. I just realized that i like watching children. They are cute and
innocent. But the most interesting part is about how the parents take care of
the children. They need to be patient but being a good teacher at the same
time. Since i can’t deal with adult behavior, i learn the children instead. Haha.
It doesn’t mean i intend to get married soon after graduate. I just found it
funny and release the endorphins
From that show, i also
realize that we can learn anything since we were a child. Golden age isn’t just
a term. It plays the big part of how we grow up. And i think i missed something
in my childhood. I didn’t go to many places when i was a child, so it was
pretty difficult for me to socialize. I was also a coward if it came to a new
thing, although you-know, sometimes the new thing is good for us to challange
ourselves and get another opportunity.
I don’t like changes for sure. I like staying in my comfort zone cause it seems safer. But i shouldn’t regret it. It’s more like a lesson for me, so that i can treat the children better. I don’t need to be parent first to implement what i’ve learned from the show. For instance, i can treat my younger cousin well. I know that i have to be more patient in explaining something, become a good listener, and try to not scold them if they make a mistake. So yeah, i definitely disagree with parents who raise their children by giving them a bad punishment, like hurting or scolding.
Overall, i think the show is great and worth watching, especially for the parents who have underage children. Recently, i also observed my neighborhood a little bit. The mother tend to be quiet toward their children, although they accompany their children playing while feed them. I don’t say it’s easy being a parent. But it’s good to learn more, so that we can create a better generation which has good manner, character, and intelligence. Because as a parent, i think it’s not only about paying the children’s needs and sending them to school. We’re also responsible for their mental health, something that gives impact to their development as a human being.
I assume that in the
future, there will be higher pressure in society, influencing people to compete
each other in order to get validation from others. Social media is kinda scary
right now. Sometimes when i’m daydreaming, i see a lot of unimportant stuff in
my head caused by social media. So i decide to reduce the duration in scrolling
instagram, checking whatsapp stories, and watching youtube videos that has big possibility
for me to be ungrateful after watch them. It depends on the person tho. So you’d
better know yourself first before making decision.
